There’s something magical about counting down to Christmas — the anticipation, the excitement, and the little moments of joy throughout December. If you’re looking for a simple, hands-on way to build that festive cheer with your kids, this Christmas Santa Beard Craft Activity is a lovely Christmas tradition to get them excited!

This easy and enjoyable activity is perfect for a festive decoration, a fun Christmas countdown, and is a great way for your children to practice their numbers. Simply add a ball of cotton wool to Santa’s beard each day from 1-24 December. By Christmas Eve, his beard will be full and fluffy!

What You’ll Need:

Instructions:

  1. Print and cut out Santa’s face
  2. Hang it somewhere special — the fridge, the playroom, on your child’s bedroom door, or beside your Christmas tree.
  3. Let your child stick one cotton wool ball onto Santa’s beard each day in December, up until Christmas Eve.
  4. Watch Santa’s beard grow fluffier and fluffier in the lead up to Christmas!!

Mix things up by using colourful pom poms or fun stickers to jazz up Santa’s beard each day! This activity is also a fantastic learning opportunity — it helps children practice counting, recognise numbers, and sparks conversation as Santa’s beard grows day by day.   We are so excited to get going with our Christmas crafting and sensory play using the PlayTRAY and all our other Sensory Play Products!
